Symmetry In The Universe

6 posts in this topic

Does anyone else find it fascinating how things appear symmetrical in the universe? The human body (two eyes, two arms, etc.), animals, insects, flowers, stars, planets, galaxies, and so on. Not everything is just a blob and chaotic looking.

I don't know, it just fascinates me.  This natural structure just seems beautiful to me. But maybe I'm biased, because I'm not an amoeba. :P

@Frogfucius Spirals are also found throughout the universe. From tiny atoms to galaxies that are millions of light years across.

It does say something to us about the hidden structure of the cosmos. like there is a code to it. Not trying to sound too woo-woo or anything but it is there telling us something. What would that be?

@NTOgen O.K. I can see that.  I think the spiral says intelligent order.

It's the perfection of duality. Left needs Right. Chaos needs Order. Good needs Evil. Success needs Failure. Vegans need Meateaters. Can't live with you, can't live without you.

Yup, yup. Male and female, good and evil, life and death, changing and changeless, light and dark, visible and invisible, and so on. It's nature in its purest form, and it's just so beautiful to me.

This universe had a beginning, and it will have an end. What lies beyond that? So many questions! I love it.

Yes, highly kind of interesting. I got into that when I had my first deeper experiences because I was now pushed in the sensory world and couldn't believe what is going on. It brought me to tears many times how stunningly beautiful and intelligent nature is. It still does sometimes. When you're out of your head and into your senses, even just seeing things feels like an orgasm.

I remember one time sitting in public transport, going home from sport, and hearing a baby cry. And everybody else is kind of sick of this shit. You don't wanna be there, you wanna arrive, now this baby cries and so on. And I was so grounded this day, I completely melted with the experience of hearing and began to hear Big Voice (or let's say God / Tao / it ...) in this baby crying right now. It was like God's talking to me. And I had to really keep my shit together because it was so beautiful. Some people saw that and I earned some funny looks. But it was worth it. How much can you change when you hear a baby cry and find it to be the most beautiful harmony you every heard?

How far out can you get? :P

They want reality, so I give 'em a fatal dosage.
