The System by Todd: PUA program

8 posts in this topic

I went through the program in 2 days. The instructor is a technical dude. I believe he is an engineer or something and his model for PUA resembles that. It is very resembled and technical and I liked that. The downside is that it is a dump of information. It isn't structured like a program with theory and exercises every week. Luckily I did another program. The other program I did was on weekly basis. Todd's program is great. Today I practiced his stuff in the field and I noticed the confidence "the system" gave me. The system is basically a tool to resort back to when you are lost in the game.

What I liked the most about the program is the road map that Todd gives. It shows how to develop your skills as a beginner, intermediate, and advanced gamer. I didn't even know these nuances. This program is probably the most broad program on the market. Todd seems like a nerdy and stiff guy but his model fits very well with natural game. Eventually you want to depend on natural game but as a beginner your natural game will suck. This is where this program comes in and helps you.

The downside of this program is that it is theory based and not action based. If you are a newby and newer took action I wouldn't recommend this program. First do action based PUA programs and then come back and do this program. There are some programs out there that are on weekly basis and requires you to take action every week.

A real stretch to put PUA material in this sub-forum.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

There are actually exercises in this program. I totally missed it. lol.

@Leo Gura it is not a typical PUA program but I know what you mean.

Todd's The System is a good PUA program, better than any other RSD one you could find. On the other hand it's not really a systemic and ecological program which is a limit for me. A guy that went through this would still need a healthy female perspective to not create drama and shenanigans in his PUA journey. Secondly they would need an inner game/ therapy component that Todd doesn't give, so the teaching is incomplete. Also Todd doesn't do Social Circle which is an issue. So the program could still lead to some toxic Orange behavior. Even still, as an Outer Game Techniques program it's pretty much the best one that exists currently. I do think Todd understands models and systems, one of his mottos is "It depends" which is because he understands some informal systems thinking, and he's good at understanding the limits of even a model like The System. If you know to combine it with other ressources you could create a Yellow+ model from Todd's stuff combined with others, so in that sense it's pretty good.

So which programs are a good supplement to Todd's system then? Todd is not even with RSD anymore and this program was made after his departure.

Todd's system actually gives a roadmap how to go from basic to advanced. I haven't seen other programs doing that. In my opinion Todd's system is the broadest a PUA program can be. Stuff like "female perspective" and "social game" is secondary. These stuff can be learned first hand in the field.

Yeah, Todd is one of the best, although his teaching style is very technical. It is a nice mix of left and right brain thinking, but he teaches too mechanically. It lacks spontaneity (but that's because the product is not supposed to cover that). So his products are deep and conscious of social dynamics and inner game, but they appear too detailed and abstract because they are focused on outer game. He basically gives the end results, without going into the inner part of game.

It seems that Todd thinks that to be free of our own internal limitations and struggles, people should just learn the principles of game (inner and outer) in depth. That's partially true: understanding principles is effective, but you need to heal your psyche from negative emotions and beliefs.

A nice course that could fill the holes of Todd products is the Hot Seat at Home (RSD Tyler), which is all about inner game and being free of mental limitations (even if in my opinion there's way way better material to do so). If you'd fuse the two styles, that's where the magic happens.

@Superfluo Hot Seat at home by Tyler is on my list. Is Tyler's blueprint decoded covered by the newer Hot Seat at home? I tried watching blueprint decoded but it was so much fluffed up and long-winded that I stopped.

The thing with game is that it has to be learned in the field. You need boots on the ground. For me Todd's system was the missing part. It is like a Swiss knife (outergame). It is better to have it than not have it.

I think you guys don't understand what Todd's program is for. He says you shouldn't depend on the system. The system is only there to fall back to if you are stuck or start plateauing.
