Thx, I really appreciate this video. Even though he seems quite idiological and not so much interested in the actual practices as a former theravada buddhist I can confirm most of that what he says. It took some psychedelics to get rid of these doctrines and to see that truth is found in other groups, religions pointing to it, as well. It's still a minority but I also know many monks who are well aware of this fallacy and give additional advice like "find that which knows" or "don't focuse on the words, focuse on the methode" or "stay at direct experience". 

There comes to mind the saying of Alan Watts which says that buddhism is hinduism designed for export and it's true in a sense. ?

Yeah he is a bit ego and so forth, but he is really good at translating ancient pali and Greek. 

He knows alot about metaphysics but he is not really 100% embodying it tho.

But you should check out some more videos of him, he got some good info actually ?
