It’s not really high-level content. It is foundational content though. Nothing helped me to separate my experience from the constant conceptual mess as much as that book. Of course being present is only a small yet necessary first step on the journey.

I'm new here, so I'm very happy to be part of the community.

Yes, I would like to mention "Martin Eden" by Jack London. Sometimes after reading, there was no opportunity to come to my senses, because the plot struck to the core. Subsequently, I often rethink the personality of the heroes and the main one for the most part. If we talk about what the book can teach: any heights are achievable, whoever you are with the right approach to business, but the right attitude to life is more important for happiness. You can set more and more new goals, but not get any satisfaction from their achievement, because there is no main goal. In addition, there is a question of grief from the mind, when interacting with other people becomes impossible and disgusting. I don't know, maybe such problems just seem relevant to me, but even while I was writing this text, I began to think about all this again.

What book list?

Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth seems to be on the Turquoise list.

The Power of Now is also my favorite book. :D

Leo snobs that poor Eckhart because he's not intellectual enough for him.

I find that this book is about stillness. It highlights just what you need to see the structure, content and mechanism of the ego/mind. There is a lot of depths to it.

I've also owed it several altered states of consciousness and some provisory ego transcendences in the past.

Yeah me too, it was a miracle to see that I don't have to take what babbling is going on seriously xD

Eckhart is also extremely popular (like going to talk show popular), so maybe Leo just assumes that everybody knows about his books, which if you are interested in that kind of stuff, is probably the case.

Ok, thanks!

@Eternal Unity I would set Eckhart Tolle a new earth.  It introduced me to Turquoise and laid a foundation for my spirituality and meditation.

No joke on his popularity. He's the man I love the most of the planet. :D

He's turning all of us savage ferocious humans into purring little cats by spreading consciousness. His acceptance of all of us in our madness in absolute perfect love is just my drug.

Arghh. I'm such a fan girl! :P

Seriously, it's like refusing to put our contemporary Buddha/Jesus on the list.

I'm not getting it. :D
