I think if it's underestimated it's like a difference between 0.000001% and 0.001%. I wouldn't hold my breath for a sudden change in a median of level of consciousness on the Earth. I don't know the future, though. Every year new miracles happen, who knows what can unfold in a few next decades. So it's possible, but I am sceptical.
