Why does Leo call Reality an illusion?

Its not so much as it is fake, its just that all we experience is one layer of an infinite amount of layers, which in perspective makes our reality seem so miniscule and unimportant compared to the whole

So yes, its a word game, reality is just "right now"

because it is an illusion, unreal. and the greatest illusion is you, that you don't exist. It is not a metaphor to understand the matter, it is so literally. something really shocking. Questions like, how or why, appear, I doubt they have an answer. The only sensible thing is, since everything is illusion, let's try to see it, undo the illusion and penetrate to the depths. why? because once seen that it is an illusion, doing something else makes no sense

What if reality was NOT an illusion. How could that work?

How could something such as reality actually exist in some physical 3-dimensional sense?

What would ground reality?

Leo's metaphysics is so precise because if you dig deep enough, it makes perfect sense. All other metaphysics are totally incomplete and deluded.

It is not just a word game. “It doesn’t really matter if you call reality ‘reality’ or ‘illusion’”...already assumes there is a reality, which is and is being called this or that, something, everything, physical, etc. It’s also just a word game. Awareness hides right under the thoughts about awareness.

If one can only see that realty is real, expansion is realizing that reality is illusion.

If one can only see that reality is illusion, expansion is realizing that reality is real. 

If one can only see that reality is either real or illusion, expansion is realizing that reality is both real and illusion. 

Since 99.99% of people believe what they perceive as real is real and only real, the expansion is showing them reality is an illusion. They can already see the ‘reality is real’ perspective and are contracted within that perspective.

Reality is not an illusion to the common sense. Or else there is no difference between illusion and reality just like there is no difference phenomenologically between dreams and the waking world. 

However.. 99.99% of how you interpret the world is illusion. Almost none of what you "think" is real.. Is real. 

funny part is it takes one second to realize you have never been existed. At it's best.. I like to put it (self) as "a type of electrical flow in the brain.. the error.. the beautiful error.. beautiful fractal

Relative reality (aka illusion) also is. Yes, it is born of ultimate reality, but as such, it is still infused with reality. Is the wave not also the ocean?

Reality is all of the above. There can be only one. ?

Reality is pure awareness, it's not an illusion, it is you.

Everything you experience is colorized awareness. Stuff you perceive in the world is your awareness, stuff you perceive in your mental territory is your awareness. Basically everything you experience and become aware of, is your own projections into yourself.

It's very simple really.

The starting point is appearance. Appearance exists, perhaps we can agree on that? 

'Real' means there is something objective, concrete, behind and causing the appearance. That sounds like a deduction, not directly known. 

'Illusion' means the appearance is misinterpreted by thoughts, to create a wrong deduction, but it still relies on a layer of thought on top of the actual appearance. The thoughts about the appearance are the illusion, not the appearance itself.
