Anyone know anything about DICYANIN dye?

3 posts in this topic

also known as dicyanin glasses, blue glass, Kilner Screens, Kilner glasses, aura glasses, etc.

Supposedly it is a blue-ish dye, some say it’s an alcohol based solution. It is put between two glass panes and allows the user to see different stuff from the electromagnetic spectrum (hence the aura/spirit viewing abilities). Articles also say it is highly illegal, being more strictly guarded than hard drugs for example. Some say it is illegal under the excuse that it is a toxic material (like asbestos but asbestos is not that illegal) .

Has anyone heard anything about it, actually used it or something like that? I had a hard time looking up info even using different search engines.

thank you so much :D

It's not actually illegal, just not useful to anyone and therefore not produced by anyone. No government ever banned it or anything, it's just rumors about a single story on some website. It's not "more stricly guarded" than hard drugs, it's just not available because nobody produces it. There are superior dyes for that color so no motivation to make any. You can find any number of useless chemicals like this that are just not produced and thus not accessible.

Kilner's experiments could not be reproduced. You can believe he was right and everyone that tried his experiment was wrong. But then if you want to try his experiment, how would you get it right if nobody else than him can get it right?
