How do you balance self-actualising, becoming more loving and selfless without leaving yourself to be exploited or taken advantage off?

You say it as though "not letting yourself get exploited" is somehow the opposite of loving yourself...

Loving yourself is not letting others exploit you. Being selfless is saying "no" to yourself or others when it is necessary to do so..
