Alas, the relationship is more complicated: there is no ready-made "combination" that will help you find an approach to your partner. To think that someone should start dating you just because you're having a great time together is manipulative (going back to the memes, "women are not automatons who give out sex when you throw friendship coins at them"). The friend zone here works as a defense mechanism: it is much easier to imagine that a woman is insensitive and selfish than to understand that the relationship will not work out!
