Eating healthy makes me feel on edge

When I drop the junk food and excessive carbs from my diet I feel on edge. It's like as if I was taking antidepressants and stopped them cold turkey. Could this be sugar withdrawal?

Of course. Have you ever seen someone who stopped smoking recently? It's the same thing. 

If you can push through it. 

If it's too hard don't give up but try to slowly eliminate it.

Quite possibly. I found slowly removing things to be the most effective for me. One category or source did it for me. I started by no longer eating any fast food. I still ate some junk, but it was a big improvement. To now being all organic, vegetarian, mostly whole foods, no added sugars, etc.
