If you have no free will ...yeah, life is pointless.

There is no if, if you have free will then it's already the case. You either have or you don't but you'd know if you don't.

Pleasure will be mutual. Trust me on that. Can guarantee.

What I do is what I want to do.

There is no purpose for anything.

The illusory sense of self places an overlay of meaning purpose and value over top of reality and operates from that belief.

This is essentially what creates the dream story.

An unreal individual operating from an unreal perspective...❤

There is one thing in this world which you must never forget to do.
If you forget everything else and not this, there is nothing to worry
about, but if you remember everything else and forget this, then you
will have done nothing in your life.

It is as if a king has sent you to some country to do a task, and you
perform a hundred other services, but not the one he sent you to do.
So human beings come to this world to do particular work. That
work is the purpose, and each is specific to the person. If you don’t
do it, it’s as though a knife of the finest tempering were nailed into a
wall to hang things on. For a penny an iron nail could be bought to
serve for that.

Remember the deep root of your being, the presence of your lord.
Give your life to the one who already owns your breath and your
moments. If you don’t, you will be like the one who takes a precious
dagger and hammers it into his kitchen wall for a peg to hold his
dipper gourd. You will be wasting valuable keenness and foolishly
ignoring your dignity and your purpose.

recently I saw a close relative die from a disease, swimming in rage and hatred towards everyone for imaginary insults, a year in bed of enormous loneliness and darkness. how much of this hell is there in human globality? seas of suffering.

@Breakingthewall I would say that suffer is one of the games God likes to play. We enjoy suffer. And the fact that we dislike suffer and aim for happiness is also a game we like to play. I know it sounds frivolous and maybe offensive for you but it is the metaphysical theory that make more sense for me: everything is Perfect and we like suffer and we like to dislike suffer. God prefers to play the suffer game rather than rest in his infinite blissful.

@RedLine mmm logic says otherwise. the suffering of living beings in general is a tool for survival and evolution. if you burn you move away. the human has another type of suffering, the mental one. more ego, more suffering, less ego, more happiness. It seems like yet another evolutionary tool to guide the monkey along the path it must follow. The problem is that the monkey is often so stupid that even though it is burning, it goes further towards the bonfire, but on other occasions it looks for a way out and finds it.

Evolution is also a game. The relative exists because we move towards something. If only the goal of evolution matters and we move to Absolute Perfection, why Absolute divided itself in the first place? What it actually matters is the process. It is like a videogame, the end of the missions doesn´t really matters, it is just a pretext to play the game, otherwise the videogame would not make sense.

Or simply a weird belief you keep getting by watching too much Leo speaking that to you in the end of his videos. Because this belief is actually false. Psychedelics don't show you that.  You can't be another person if you born as you, and not as another person. That's not even debatable. And if there is such thing as past life you have ever always been you, not another person, Leo always have been himself, not in his actual conscious form tho. But who also have his own past lives. That's how it is. But there are ppl who don't believe in past lives, these are the people who believe you were born by random chance and you exist by random chance. So,no past lives.

Sorry but that is exactly what doesn't make sense and started me into the spirituality stuff in the first place.

The story of being a precise "you" and not another "you" sounded like Catholic animalistic magical thinking..it just makes zero sense. Therefore looking for actual truth about what I am.

Cringe. You actually lack free will 90% of the day. And even more if you lack knowledge of that.

90%? It's actually 100% as the ego...

But it's 100% in control when you realize and know who you are... Does the author of the book not have infinite and absolute will? Heck yes bro!
