Parents Fighting

So I have been mediating for a little while now, like 3 months and I have finally understood what it means to have more awareness of emotions, thoughts, and in general life. Whenever at dinner, I can now view my parents fighting from a different perspective and really see first hand how the ego causes so much suffering and hostility to two people that seemingly love each other. My question is how do I use my awareness to keep the argument from heating up and my parents from getting to attached to their emotions. BTW my emotional control has been really good lately, because of Leo and meditation.

I too would want to do something about this situation in my house.

The lawer who prepares the best case wins we need to show our parents how they feel while fighting and give them a cause to reinvent themselves.. 

I hope to do it one day.
