In your dreams at night, you are not the people that appear, and yet they appear in you. But while in the dream it feels like they're their own person, with their own desires and self control. So yeah, you're not Leo or Donald Trump right now... but it's actually an illusion that Leo and Donald Trump as you think of them exist :'D Kinda twisted, don't worry about it too much. You guys ARE different people, as an illusion, but still the illusion exists. I hope you understand how I likened it with dreams we have at night, in the sense that every character IS different and do what they want. However, they're all made of the same stuff: mind stuff. To answer your question you are you because you can't not be you.

Then I guess you might say why you are that specific character, right? Well because all possible characters must exist and you're essential, because you exist.

but what I say doesn't matter, go do self-inquiry for hours (with good rock solid concentration ofc, which most people don't have nowadays)

Nope, there is no logical explanation possible in language for your question. Thank god for that. Imagine if there were???!!!....realitywouldn't be reality anymore, everything would turn to nothingness, all mystery gone.

The only answer we can give to the question is that you in fact are Leo, me and Trump, just as much as you are 'insert your own name'. 

And that you chose this experience of seemingly separate povs/selves for the thrill of it.

Actually, Oneness is the case/truth. But this isn't something that can be understood through words or logic.
