Someone suggested to me to read the power of now by Eckhart tolle... I downloaded it but  feel lazy to read it All... If anyone have screenshots or highlighted the best chapters and paragraphs... Please post here. Especially regarding 

-being present.

-eliminating suffering.

It doesn't work like this.. The new earth is the really life changing book... Both books can be extremely boring. You don't read them to learn something necessarily, you just be while reading them. A new earth completely exposes the mechanisms of your ego. What was extremely powerful for me when i couldn't really take it anymore was to read the power of now from start to finish and then immediately after the new earth from start to finish. You do all of this while you are being. Just do it and you will see a change happening if you are ready and had enough at least. But you see noone does this. Try reading both of them from start to finish. In the worst case you wasted your time and i am the one to blame. In the best case you've found a way out of you and your suffering.

But I'm really not a good reader. I don't almost ever read a book from start to finish.. I skip through. I will try to read thorough them. But the thing is I'm not in the mood to read introductory chapters and I prefer to read the most important parts.

@Someone here Look the whole purpose of the power of now is to understand how you can just be. It is very boring i know but also very valuable. When you underatand how to just be you can practice it all day long. Once you get that part and you go to the new earth and read it while being, there is alot of ego deconstruction and the understanding of the pain body is something you need. After reading both books you can't really help it but practice what they teach. Maybe not everybody is ready to apply these books. You had enough? I did at the time. I had a mother screaming 24/7 at home for at least 4 years with 0 quite moments in the house plus financial problems. You don't know how difficult to live in an environment like this is if you don't experience it. It's unbearable. After finishing those books and applying them all the time i ended up being woke af or rather i wasn't. I know that this claim can meet alot of judgment in this forum. It lasted for about a month and then i had an ego backlash so strong that completely fucked me up for years. Other situations helped with this too. A new earth is the 5 meo of books if you are ready. Another claim that will probably meet some hate here especially from me that i have no idea what it's like (if i ever have the chance i'll found out though). But fuck it i'm being honest. I was scared of the new earth all these years. I know that it can end all my bs once again. When i said that i'm going to follow my own advice i meant that it's time to read these books again. I believe i am more mature now than i was back then but at the same time i don't suffer nearly as much. I already started reading. Maybe this worked only in my situation because everything was right or rather wrong. I don' t know. Don't look for shortcuts try it. Maybe it won't work but at least i gave you my experience and you have a tool to use you choose to. Or don't choose to haha i don't know. Your understanding about free will is better than mine. 

If you don't read you miss out... Leo has a booklist with life transforming books. I read them and they change my understanding and life. Start reading books and do it slowly and painfully if you have to. This is all the advice i can give and i did it because for some reason i wanted to. 

Having said all that you might think that i'm smart or wise in some way. No i am a big fool and i completely agree that i am a newbie. It just happened because of circumstances that i had a spiritual experience that i cannot forget.

@Someone here  I’m in agreement with@BlackMaze about how life changing The Power of Now and A New Earth can be. Tolle recommends in the Power of Now at times to just pick up and read just a little and let it digest. I’ve done that but at times I was compelled to keep reading on an on. I’m sure I’ve read The Power of Now over 20 times starting when it was first printed. A New Earth I’ve reread at least 4-5 times. They’re great books and tools for transformation.

@BlackMaze i share a similar experience

summer of 2015 was the time when after reading it i realized of all the damage my toxic mother had made us and especially me. It was the hardest truth i've ever faced in my life. So painful that i think i "woke" up or some similar thing happened to me. I thought i was losing my mind, my identity and a new me was reborn. 

Till today, when i face a life and a view a bit ahead for non-conscious ppl in terms of awakening.

That atma-sadhana (Self inquiry) can be done not only in the form of attending to the first person "I" [out of the three persons], but also in the form of attending to the present [out of the three times]. In whichever of these two forms one may do the atma sadhana, both the first person and the present time will disappear, being found to be truly non-existent, and the eternal greatness devoid of birth and death will be attained.
