Benefits of bad trips?

I wondered, many psychonauts avoid having bad trips. But bad trips offer a valuable view into the subconscious, what is not resolved.

Sure, a bad trip can mess you up and shake you to the core, requiring you to go into psychiatric care. However, through suffering it is realized what is good. So, what do you think?

Bad trips have great benefits to surrender the “I”. Because, “I” (ego) is having a bad trip, not you. You are already what you are. Be witness of the monkey mind, which feels, talks, evaluates and sees during the bad trip or names and labels as a bad trip according to feelings or experiences. But, you can not be experienced, you can just “be”.

Curiously, every time while tripping, if a bad image or sensation came up, it was recognized that the mind is not the master and that the master can direct & inform the mind.

How "much" Love is there that you always get a pointer to what's is True? Truly unconditional, patient, caring and loving.
