Define awakening

96 posts in this topic

I understand awakening as a state in 'you' being in a certain way.

Since you can be in a lot of certain ways, awakening is not a singular thing.

what words follows awakening

from

what do i awaken from?

sleep

what is sleep?

the state where i think me takes a rest for a while

so what's the answer?

you think god has taken a rest for a while and you the ego is running the show.

what now then?

the rest is over, it is time to resume being god

but how?

you didn't ask that, you just asked for a definition of awakening

No. Enlightenment is singularity.

How come?

Isn't difference how you experience life from the ego POV than from other different ways of experience life?

The rest of ways to experience life that are not the usual ego POV, could be called awakening.

But since there are many different, that's why I don't think it's singular.

The “eyes” dont see anything or there is no such a thing as eyes nor seeing nor POV.

Seeing, perception, experiencing, pov is ego.

Thats not enlightenment. Even perception or experiencing is survival mechanism.

What about increasing your levels of consciousness and realizing reality is imaginary and you are God and all alone etc etc..?

Yes I believe in raising our level of consciousness because then we are able to see and feel the oneness all the time. Then it's not about beliefs and concepts anymore. I'm not finished yet but this world I'm currently in is so much better than the old one that felt cold, scary and boring :)

when you change your point of view for another external to you and it's revealed that you are a kind of pattern with a certain shape, completely irrelevant, without real existence, with the illusory certainty of being a separate entity

Enlightenment/this/nothing/infinity is appearing as a someone seperate from it, looking for it. That dream either is or it isn't, there isn't anyone in it making it happen, it is non-seperateness appearing as separateness. This message is utterly meaningless to the seeking energy, as it doesn't give it anything. The seeking energy wants more knowing, more control, more more and more, so it finds conceptual ideas much more helpful and interesting.

There is no one here who knows what this is saying. There is no one behind these words. These words are emptiness wording. The words aren't pointing to something beyond this state.

It can't be argued with because there is no substance in it, any argument or objection would still just be what apparently happens. It doesn't satisfy any need, because what is pointed to is: the experience of need is non-neediness appearing as the experience of need. The experience is trapped because the experience of need will naturally have the need to know that this is non-neediness. A loop of need that is never satisfied, because nothing is needed already.

1. Working through hundreds of layers of social conditioning.

2. Meeting, accepting and loving your shadow.

Thus seeing through the illusion of duality.

Thoughtlessness. Which is “nothingness” or “being” and “now”. Thats why nothingness can not be experienced, can just be.

But I'm always nowv.. Does that mean I am already awake?

You are already what you are, but seem not aware. When you are the moment, there will be no question left. Thats the ultimate answer. And when you are “awake”, you are.

Here's my short and catchy definition of awakening: It is the realization of that which cannot be defined. ;)

That was the first thought that came to mind while reading the OP question. ;)

What a dream, what a joke, love it   :x

As I said I'm always in the moment and there still questions left. Like what after death for example.
