Not agreeing or Disagreeing.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

@StarStruck not all vegans who are killing it have YouTube channels. Probably less than 1% do. There are tens of thousands of thriving vegans out there you just don't know them.

I know that but I'm talking about the famous vegan youtubers. They have a lot of influence. A lot of children are watching toxic advice.

this is a stage green advice, there is nothing toxic about teaching children compassion for the animals and the environment as well as pushing kids towards eating a lot of plant produce and wholefoods. Now the other side of the coin is that they are potentially creating fear of many different types of foods which can indeed create neurosis in the future so the advice definitely needs to be balanced and not dogmatic (e.g. vegan gains type of stuff, but most vegan YouTubers aren't like that)

Lol, yeah, Im sure you care about the children...

Oooor... maybe you have a shadow towards vegans or Stage Green and want to rant about it to feel justified in your own worldview.

See, Im not a vegan, yet I dont post these kinds of threads... Why is that?

I'm sorry. I wasn't clear enough. There are NO famous vegans who give good advice. If there are I would like to see it. Most of them are either physically or mentally (or both) ill.

Perhaps your dogma and ideology is blinding you? I'm stage yellow and I have transcended that stuff.

Of course. It's unfortunate that some vegans actually do more harm than good to the cause, but idiots with lots of influence exit everywhere. That doesn't make the cause bad per se.

At least you are honest about vegans which is good.

But don't pretend like I defend anti-vegans. It is your projection.

Carnivor youtubers, which are few, are marginal and don't have influence. It is the vegan youtubers who have a whole industry behind them to exploit little children insecurities to earn money. This needs to be addressed. Children need to stay away from vegan diets.

Check out Derek Simnet and his girlfriend Crystal Kennings. To me this couple is the number one vegan youtube couple out there. Maybe I am a biased by being a die-hard fan of their work but what they do is wonderful and there is very little in there for you to criticise ;) Check them out. They are the only vegan channel I have been watching so there may be many more out there, I'm sure just not as famous.

Btw I'm not vegan myself so this is not coming from a place of personal agenda just trying to draw a different perspective

@datamonster I don't think the meat industry is giving money to youtubers so they can exploit insecurities and sell their products.

The vegan community does get money from the vegan industry to promote insecurities so they can sell their products.

The formula is this:

1. Force people in vegan diet

2. Create health problems

3. Sell pills and other nonsense to fix it

If you eat healthy you don't need pills and stuff.

Anyway people can do whatever they like. Just stay away from the kids.

Not all vegans are equal but the fact it is so difficult to get the vegan diet says something. And if you don't see that I really can't help you.

@integral i think my motivation is to experiment with new things... keep what works.

(optimization in general)

@datamonster that is really besides the point. My main point was about the industry: meat versus vegan.

And obviously not all vegans. I already said that many times in this thread. I'm talking about the face of vegans: youtubers and such.

This is exactly how the collective consciousness mind is thinking. Its maximizing profits, but the individuals constructing it are unconscious to this bigger picture.

A lot of vegans are part of this problem, until they power up and become super vegans

Uhm what? ?Give me an example of a vegan youtuber who did vegan diet for 5 years straight and didn't ruin his health or bit the dust.

There is no such example.

Stage green ideology and dogma is becoming toxic and is ruining the health of millions of people.

The problem isn't necessarily any particular diet, so to say (although it can be). It's that people have piss poor body awareness and take responsibility for how they are feeling, and then try to outsource how to discover what specific diet/healthy lifestyle is optimal for them.

They think they can shortcut the problem but subscribing to a strict grocery list of a fad diet like raw veganism or carnivore diet, but what they really need is a trip to the doctors office, a nutritional coach, and a behavior specialist to get to the roots and build a solid foundation for health.

Stop being so blind and attaching to things that fit your confirmation bias and be honest that the people in these videos would be sick and rotting regardless of the contents of their palate.

Notice how I haven't said anything about if veganism is good or bad or not, and you are still locking down your position by finding another piece of confirmation bias, not just any piece but appealing to the ultimate authority of the person who literally runs the forum we are chatting in :D

@Roy we first have to agree on the basics. If we can't agree on what our human digestive system is build for, there is no discussion possible. :)

Another dietitian dunking on vegans:

Veganism just doesn't work for most people. There is a small portion of people who can because of genetics but most people can't. Especially if you are Caucasian and have an above-average brain that requires a lot calories.

Leo did mention on the topic to take the balance approach. He said that to take all other factors into consideration and that does mean being vegan or not is in your own hands. "It's tricky, he said" There are thriving vegans out there who don't broadcast themselves on social platforms. I think people already mention it on your thread, was that your agenda?

I don't know why people like to debate stuffs like this nowadays. Who are you to dictate what other wants to eat and live? YouTube nowadays are so saturated with so much information, you gotta pick the good ones from the bad.

Discussions like this made me facepalm that I wont get to see the 'kind of evolution' that I want to see in mankind.
