How Are You Starting Your Desired Entrepreneurial Career?

7 posts in this topic

My aspiration is to in the future, teach language lessons and prove some ancillary service like something that involves skills from my job as a technology professional, I don't know much about setting up a business like this, but i'd also have to learn the skills required in having a method or models for tutoring as well as having certification(if required). I love languages and I currently am fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese, and working on Dutch. For the moment I am tutoring several people online and am having a success, and my goal is to set this up locally since there aren't any tutoring services for language!

What are you doing in your personal quest for Entrepreneurship to start off?

That's awsome! What language to plan to learn after Dutch? I want to learn Japanese soon.

To start off my quest I'm going to do some affiliate marketing. Honestly, that's all I have the money and time for right now. In the future I want to start a school, kind of, for all forms of artists. I want it to be more of a community than a school. I plan to start it within 10 years.

My biggest advice to anyone just starting a business or thinking about starting a business is to find a mentor or hire a business coach.

Someone who has what you have, who has been in business for years and has achieved success in their business and has a really good reputation/testimonials.

My business is life coaching and I have several coaches I work with to help me be at peak performance mentally, emotionally and Physically.

@Eddy Its great you are tutoring people already, I suggest if you want to make this a business, get a website done (even if its just basic) doesn't have to be too fancy starting off and then you can work on it and improve the finer details as you go along. Get some business cards so you can hand out to people when socialising or networking so people know you are there and what you have to offer. Then I would suggest to keep practicing your craft.

For me personal development is a life long jounrey, so I try and learn form the best in the business (such a Leo) and I try to read and watch everything I can to get more understanding on different areas and then I apply what I have learnt to my clients, which they apply to their own lives and what do you know... great success!

Hope this helps a bit.

I work with guitar teaching and playing so i'm doing all the work via lessons, the 6 books i wrote.

I'm also running an educational and artistic channel on youtube.

I think that facebook and twitter also helps alot to improve the marketing of my business with no costs.@Eddy @MIA.RIVEL @T1r1on

I'm thinking of learning German, because it's a lot similar to Dutch, an it's also a widely used language

To start off, I actually never envisioned my life going in this direction until recently, I just go with the flow and let things happen, and they have been unrolling wonderfully. I recently turned my life around within the past 2 years, lost a lot of weight and focused on my fitness, getting healthy both mentally and physically.  This change in me has also expanded into my career area. I am now so passionate about holistic fitness, nutrition, and living in line with the planet (eco-friendly), that I started a website to share all of the things I have learned on my journey with others. I see myself headed in the "holistic life coach" direction. I am taking things one step at a time, but I am beginning to manifest more quickly. I am now 5 lbs away from my ultimate fitness goal, and about 2 weeks away from launching my website. I hope that I can eventually create my "own job" and focus on this full time in the future, and manifest a life where I can work from wherever I want as I love being in nature and would like the opportunity to travel. My goal is to free up the time that I spend at my full-time job, to work on this project, be able to spend more time on my art and music, and have the financial abundance to be a stay at home mother without giving up my passions (I don't have children yet.)

I would have to say the golden rule for starting a business is to KNOW that business back and forth, inside and out, like the back of your hand before you go into it.  That's all you need to know to get started really.  It's better to measure 10 times and cut once, than to measure once and cut 10 times.  The first step in your business should be knowing it and researching if FULLY.
