What is the difference between Intuition and the reptilian brain?

6 posts in this topic

So David Lion explains in his video here about intuition and how it is aligned with playfulness and our highest excitement and passions. I am wondering how this differs from our reptilian brain because in Leo’s new video on holism, he says how we have a fragmented ego: An ego who values spirituality and productivity, and an ego who wants to play, eat ice cream, sex, food, etc., which is why we have ego backlashes. I may be confusing the two, but how do we know if our impulse or drive or message is our intuition or our reptilian brain?

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

They are quite different. Reptilian brain is gonna drive you towards very base survival needs and cravings like food, sex, safety, fear, anger, greed, laziness, etc.

Intuition is sorta free of all that if you can get yourself clear-minded and not under craving.

The basic distinction is fear vs love.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Ok! Thank you so much for the clarification. I think this also ties into higher consciousness vs lower consciousness, as well as Wisdom vs. foolishness, which these all boil down to love vs. fear. This makes more sense now. Thanks.

In my opinion our ego fragmentation is irrelevant, if you look at this from holistic perspective you are just holon yourself, experience happening, I would say biological being that operates differently depending on how it gets handled, but calling it just biological would be wrong as there is more to your experience then just biological, there is none really thinking, or doing anything, it is more of a gods will pushing experience in one direction or other, depending on where you push it your experience gets changed, behaving, thinking  get experienced differently.

It has to do with higher or lower consciousness.  Leo has a video about it.

There's no boundary to your mind, cause you don't have a mind, in other words "you" IS the boundary you believe in and it's not really there. This sounds radical to the mind but in your direct experience right now, already is the boring, mundane, usually overlooked reality of your being. You, the real you, as in the light of Consciousness, Awareness, is completely open and borderless. Hence, the benefits of being open-minded, this makes you seemingly smarter, because you already are so open-minded that you don't have a mind. When you are relaxed and carefree, you are not thinking of these illusionary borders of you and your mind and so information that "you" should not have access to can enter in. It can enter in at any time actually, but thoughts are more likely to misinterpret it.

The reptilian brain is what scientists call ancient, but there was Awareness before any sort of brain or thinking process whatsoever could have existed. It is the beginning without an end, the eternal now.
