Dealing with Overwhelmedness

5 posts in this topic

Hello friends,

lately I feel overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by the tasks that life throws at me, none of which I myself am interested in doing. Tasks that I have to do. Additionally, living in Lockdown doesn't exactly make things easier.

I get more and more fooled by my thoughts which tell me that life is dreadfully serious and that if I mess up some of these tasks, it's gonna have some serious consequences, whichever they may be.

When I think about the tasks left to do, I feel as though I'm facing a gigantic heap of problems and I lose sight of the individual steps, which is pretty discouraging and stresses me.

Any tips on how to not worry about this sh*t and keep my cool? I'm getting sucked into this ordinary, stressed out life style and I abhor it.

You are not alone. What helped me was to make a big list of all my problems or the things i should be doing. Try it, this way you get it out of your head. Then find out the next small step you could take in each of them. Some problems are complex but some of them will disappear if you just take a small next step. Try to cross off your list all the easy to erase problems. Watching your list becoming smaller and smaller and not be poluted by problems that create more stress than they should is very satisfying. Your head will clear up.

Also what i realized is that it's better to focus on only one area at a time and work on it until it's in place. Otherwise you are not effective. I am very impatient and want to do everything at the same time but i end up doing nothing. Patience and focus are important.

There is nothing you need to do. Everything you are doing, you chose to be doing. The overwhelment is not the product of what you have to do, it is the natural discord of the perspective that there is anything you need to or have to do. Everything you are doing, you get to do. Appreciation without condition, of all you have experienced, and of all that you are experiencing realigns you with this deep truth of unconditional feeling being ever present now.

Good feeling is not in a future, nor in any accomplishment. Good feeling is unconditionally present now, and arising of you. When you recognize the truth, that all of your choices, and all of your focus thus far have led to where you are and what you’re experiencing, you simultaneously realize this will continue to be the case, and it begins to feel downright amazing in the recognition you are creating your reality via focusing from this place of pure magic, of feeling, now.

The easiest, most effortless way to realize this by getting ‘out of your head’, and literally seeing the true power of your creatorship of reality unfolding in your life and right in front of you, and to begin to consciously focus and create the life experiences you desire, is to make a dreamboard, and to allow your mind to clear of the old perspectives, first thing every morning. This is self love, and it is the only power that is, and it is the electricity of creators. The miracle that is experienced and seen, is that you have always been, are right now, and will always be, perfectly on course with what you desire.

You are not a physical object moving through time. You are attracting what you are experiencing. Relax in your being. It is all coming to you. To hurry through now, is to miss this actuality.

Sounds like you're stretching yourself too thin. What is your ultimate strategic intent? What are you trying to achieve? Do all of your daliy tasks really will get you closer towards your goals or a lot of them are actually kinda of fluffy? Try to prioritize stuff and keep the best high leverage actions while dropping the suboptimal stuff
