What if someone is passionate about something but naturally not good at it ?

Yes follow your passion is good advice but it is not the whole thing. 

Make sure you can get something good from your passion (? and more passion).

The experience of life is for you. See this, and you are perfect at it. You simply & profoundly can not get it wrong. Judge yourself, wether by your estimate, or by your thoughts about what others think of you, and still, you are perfect at it, because your sensational guidance let’s you know you’ve went astray from it, in giving mind to what others think, when you are knowing of your passion. Others have passion too, and others have feet and hands, and thoughts & dreams, and a body and mind, thus they need not concern themselves with what you focus on and enjoy, with your passion, nor you of them and theirs.
