How to stop conceptualizing everything?

3 posts in this topic

What are the essential steps to take to stop using the mind and its conceptualizing to finally be able to see the reality as it is? I guess there's meditation and observation. Is there anything else besides that?

I see that whenever I am unhappy, I am conceptualizing something and labeling it as negative in my mind and that makes me always uneasy. Does conceptualizing fade away with practice?

You can try minimalism. The less stuff you have to deal with, the less time you will be invested in thinking, and the less clouded by thoughts your mind becomes. All of which add up to increased awareness & clarity.

Meditation also works great for me, especially when practiced for long enough. Ideally, two hours a day.

Solo retreats are an option to consider if you haven't yet had the chance to experience what a no-mind state feels like.
