Yea I don't get it since he is all about the environment.

Kinda sneaky and hypocritical.

I think it's so he doesn't scare the middle.

His motivations aren't relevant.

If he had your mentality Trump would still be in the office.

No one was really expecting Biden to be a saint of Green environmentalism, I'm happy enough to have someone reasonably responsible and sane when it comes to ecological policy.

Rejoining the Paris Climate Accords and ending the Keystone XL Pipeline pretty much immediately on taking office are encouraging signs. We can and should push Biden to do more of course, but let's not apply Purity Politics to environmental issues, as it's incredibly counter productive.

@blackchair

I'm against fracking, but I highly doubt Biden will be doing anything about it.

Fracking has helped the US become a dominant force in the energy source wars. It's a big part of our economy. And there's a lot of wealthy people behind it that would like that to stay the way it is.

This is what makes issues like fracking so complex. I think we can all intuit that it's not good for the environment and it needs to stop. But then you have all these systemic, economic and geopolitical forces that make that change challenging.

Of course he wont, hes not a radical, he licks two buttcheeks at a time, left and right. All we wanted was a person in the White House that wasnt a complete lunatic, thats what well get, and maybe some policies that are good for Black folks.
