Emotional Intelligence

It's a part of general IQ and intellect. 

I wouldn't consider someone intelligent enough if they did not have the requisite Emotional intelligence 

 

 


INFJ-T,ptsd,BPD, autism, anger issues

@Elsiedottie Yes and no. I would say having a higher IQ does not predispose the person to higher EQ but a person with higher IQ is likely to catch up more on the subtle language of Emotional intelligence should they decide to study it rather than somebody with naturally low IQ levels. But it doesn't always have to be like that and you can have a person with very high EQ levels while the other is fairly low.

One part of emotional intelligence is to be able to recognize the feelings of the people you are speaking with and then you act in an appropriate manner.

Another thing you can do is to be careful with your words so you don't offend too many people.
