Immigrant Mentality Patrick Bed-David

When I saw the Tai Lopez thrad I felt Patrick could raise the standards.

This guy does not work with word salad or NLP tricks like Tony Robbins. He seems to be one of the guys who does not insult your intelligence with BS.

Being a hard worker is now doubt a respectable thing. But, i am scared i would be one of those workaholics who can't see the world as it is and are actually worsening the work they do. I'm not one to argue about productivity and innovation, but i feel like people cannot be creative when they are workaholics. See for example, leonardo da vinci who procrastinated so many times. But many workaholics think he is a procrastinator, but to me he is not. He is actually a really contemplative person. That is why he can take 7 hours doing nothing but just staring at his painting, ruminating about whether or not he should brush a stroke or not on a particular area. I see this many times with Chinese and Koreans. They think they work hard and get good grades and shit, but they don't know an inkling about innovation and creativity. And they think if they manage things well into systems, people will automatically be smart and intelligent. You might say, the biggest copy heads exist in korea and china, So, be careful of idolizing workaholics. It ain't pretty all the time. Don't get me wrong, working hard is indeed important, and Tony Parker told me once in person all he thinks about when playing basketball and success is to just "work hard". But you gotta understand what working hard really is. All those people working on garbage trucks work hard. Military officers in war work harder. But is it smart though? You gotta think before you act right? Immigrants can make that mistake lol

@charlie cho

In general exitential angst makes us work hard because we want to survive. Locals have ways to get around that a bit more than immigrants except the rich immigrants.

Without the will to work hard creativity probably will not happen. Then sometimes creativity is not always a good thing as it disrupts the status quo.

I find him quite centered in orange, while that isn't evil or bad. He is really into his own image and money it seems like. I wasn't really all that impressed with his book "doing the impossible." This stuff still serves a good place for getting people motivated. I hadn't watched him in quite some time and I found some good value in his public speaking video recently. Just having the ability to extract the useful stuff without the BS is a good practice in general.

It's good stage Orange stuff.

Don't expect much more than that from him. There's certainly plenty of Orange BS going on.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Did you just really say that without hesitance?

Patrick isn't a bad guy and is a good example of a solid stage orange business man. He runs a multi-level marketing business so there's still much devilry going on with him but he does give solid advice on finance and business related ideas.

Yes for example you could say the invention of fascism was probably creative it disrupted the status quo. Some would argue that fascism is not a good thing.
