Marilyn Manson woke for his time

52 posts in this topic

I don't think he is woke at all. But I guess it depends on what you mean by woke. He is certainly going against the tides, but he doesn't look free or at peace.

He si personal developed to some degree. Not awoked.

He has little shadow. He doesn´t overreact and stay very chill when people spike him. He doesn't care much about anything, in the good sense.

Here the interveiwer is retarted and he stays completely polite and chill haha:

@Carl-Richard Manson is Orange-Green with extreme Blue/Red shadow. And yeah, I do believe the allegations. He's basically been an open psychopath for a long time, despite his empathy period with Mechanical Animals. He literally describes attempting to kill his ex-girlfriend in his autobiography.

From the little I know of Manson's personal life, it sounds a lot like he suffers from borderline personality disorder. That would explain the pattern of abusive relationships. If that is the case, I feel very bad for him. And of course also for anyone who's been intimately involved with him. BPD is extremely destructive.

When I say woke I mean more in terms of street and society, not enlightened.

He had/has a high level of intelligence, he’s smart in interviews and doesn’t get defensive.  Is creative, would be himself and express himself whilst encouraging others to do the same.  He had charisma and humour, was an artist, musician, could listen and understand his fans, he donated a lot to charities.

He was also antisocial, troubled, sadistic, emotionally abusive and manipulative, hateful, unpredictable, insecure..

And both of these truths can exist at the same time.

Like all of us there is a dark side to varying degrees. You have to wonder what kind of a childhood created a man like him.  He went to a strict Christian school where he was bullied for years.  He was abused by a family friend as a child and when he told about it he killed his dog. His dad had an uncontrollable temper.  As a child he discovered his grandfathers stash of pornography and fetish objects in the basement, he would also receive harsh punishments from his grandparents.  He accounts all of this in his book.

So turns out he’s a master manipulator.
Today Evan Rachel wood as announced she was abused by Manson back when they were together.  She had previously not named him until now...

Could he be psychopathic?

I don't like this victim mentality.

To become a victim you must admit ignorance. For if you were not ignorant you won't fall for a manipulator.

To become a victim you must surrender your power. For if you never surrendered your power, how can the other manipulate you.

It is ignorant to look at someone like Merlin Manson and expect that he would treat you like other "normal" guy. Merlin Manson wears his personality on his sleeves. If you are too blind to see it, you need to fix your eyes.

What? This just sounds like victim blaming

It’s not so simple.  You have to see that these girls were teenagers, some with troubled upbringings. They were of course naive and attracted to manson not only for his good traits, but they were also attracted to his ‘bad side’ but unconsciously, and his abusive and toxic side is what comes out slowly over time.  They were attracted to this dangerous side of him, the rebellious side that he shows the world and the fact that he is a rock star.

Just because Manson looks and behaves a certain way in his shows and music (I was also guilty of this assumption at first) it doesn’t mean that makes him above being respectful in his relationships.

Actually it’s kinda worse that he can behave this way so openly and say terrible things publicly, but gets away with it because it’s expected of him.

If you already have low self esteem, you will do what you can to please this person.  Wood has even said this, she has already admitted that she blamed herself for years for feeling it was her own fault for being stupid.  She was afraid of what might happen to her for speaking out.

This is how people in power get away with these things all the time.

It’s easy for people to say ‘well it’s their own fault they should have known not to get involved with a guy like that’ because they are speaking from a different world view, with more awareness, possibly more experience, or they simply grew up in a loving home so subconsciously wouldn’t be drawn to someone like Manson.

Manson is older, he could have been more responsible, he could have been a good leader to these girls but instead, he took advantage of his power over them and abused it.  He could take responsibility for his actions instead of gaslighting everyone.  People like this never change because they refuse to look at themselves, they live in their own warped world view, and nobody confronts them about their shit so they are actually blind to the hurt they’re causing.. but he too is acting out from a place of deep inner hurt and lack of Self Love.

Why Red shadow?

@RedLine Because he has unaddressed anger issues that happen unconsciously. If he were conscious of his anger and that it is harming him, he would let go of it. So, he is unaware of the implications of his Red actions. Blue shadow simply because he hasn't integrated Blue.

When you play with a bear, don't get surprised when the bear one day eats you alive.

Everyone must take full responsibility for their actions.

Maybe these young girls were using Manson because of his status, money, fame?

Don't be a victim, because you are only a victim of your ignorance.

Well all psychopaths are narcisists but not all narcisists are psychopaths, IMO he doesn't really display hardcore narcisistic traits, atleast in public media. I think all that abuse thing is sort of a part of his image, style etc.

Both are responsible.  And both are unconscious to different degrees.  Still doesn’t mean the ‘victim’ deserves to be punished for their unconsciousness... they don’t even know they are unconscious.  And both had lack of self love.  Now the victim has more self love and has awakened more and can see their past unconsciousness.

Yeah I’m sure that is what attracted them at first.  But then he became abusive and controlling, and it’s not easy for someone to get out of that situation, especially when they are kept there by fear.

‘‘Manson only ever did exactly what he could get away with, and in a climate of overarching cultural misogyny, he could get away with a lot.’’

‘‘a man could confess to abusing women on a national stage, and no one would care.’’

‘’Yet that is the truth. Violent hatred of women is very deeply embedded in our culture, and men can not only get away with it, they can ride it to fame and fortune. It happens all the time. Those who express normal human amounts of fear or outrage are called humorless and told not to take it so seriously. It’s all fun and games and fake autopsy photos of your girlfriend until a woman comes forward to claim that you actually raped, tortured, and threatened to kill her. Marilyn Manson is only the latest in a long line of men who were more sincere than they seemed.’’
