We wouldn't call this a dream if it was fundamentally different.  We would call it something else.

It may seem so much more real.  But you can become directly conscious that reality is made up of the same stuff as your night time dreams - aka nothing.  It is happening nowhere.   And everything in it is being held within your consciousness.   In your Expanded Consciousness.
