Psychedelics Healing Addictions

2 posts in this topic

Long story short, I started doing LSD tabs rather irresponsibly, 2 tabs one night, then 4 tabs the next day at one point, and I experienced an ego death. Then one day I took half an LSD tab and the days following I was making constant notes in my phone about how I've been demonizing reality as short-term gratification. This also, I believe, triggered me to stop using marijuana chronically, which I was using daily for a good 2 months. As I was withdrawing I got very depressed but I didn't want to use alcohol or any other drugs to make my detox more comfortable. I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions about this as now that I've passed the awful withdrawal, and I haven't tripped since 12/14/2020, I'm dealing with cravings to use again. I understand that these more serious topics are banned and I sincerly apologize for my recent post about where to acquire 5Meo, but I'm curious as to weather or not another light LSD dose might help with my cravings for drugs like weed and alcohol. Love yall, and thanks for your time to anybody who responds to me, this forum will transform my life I believe :)

I dunno about the LSD part, but, in my experience, whenever I have a craving, I try to first (not always, and probably not most of the time) feel the feeling that I'm trying to avoid with the addiction.  Whatever it is.  And, depending on the severity of suffering in that feeling, I may just mindfully feel it for a few seconds and then do the addiction, or, sometimes, I'm able to fully be with it without letting the addictive behavior happen and then transcend and heal that suffering feeling by feeling it all the way through.  Usually something comes up when feeling these unwanted feelings, I think often pain of some sort.
