The Need For Reassurance

2 posts in this topic

So, was thinking..

People like information. We research and share large volumes of it. Do we share information cos if it gets validated by another human we feel reassured? So are friendships ultimately based out of fear & the need to know that we are 'okay' as we are?

So... Do we research and show interest in things that can confirm our 'normality'?

I have a lot of gay friends and at times they talk alot about the gay scene & searching for evidence why men aren't idealist partners, I can't help but think it's from some deeper level of uncertainty.

maybe there doesn't need an answer as to why we share and that's okay. Expression is part of human experience for whatever reason!

Ironically, what are your thoughts?
