Learning deception to counter deception?

I'm reading books on systems thinking and strategy. I'm not finished with this personal project but I discovered the value of deception within strategic thinking.

To be fair, I wouldn't say I'm more naive than others. My brain is just very good at deception. This makes solving problems difficult. Especially if one has a strong victim ego.

I was thinking about this: to defeat the enemy (deception) I need to learn how it works. I know Leo has some videos on it. I'm more interested in general theory of deception. Any good book recommendations?

I have been also looking into generals. What fascinates me about these people is that these people are amazing strategic thinkers on the outside, but they are not very selfaware, so their genius brain turns against itself and destroys the individual by self-destructive behavior.

Examples:

-Alexander the Great,

-Ataturk

-Napoleon

-Ceasar

-Hannibal

And so on.
