Can An Asthma Patient Undergo Rhinoplasty Surgery?

Hey!! My sister is considering rhinoplasty surgery as she got a nasal hump. But I'm concerned about her health as she has asthma since her childhood. She convinced our parents by saying she doesn't have asthma problem for the past 1 year and she is perfectly fine to undergo this procedure. She even has scheduled an appointment with Dr. Oakley Smith in Toronto ( http://www.droakleysmithrhinoplasty.com/ )for next week. But I'm not sure if she is a right candidate for rhinoplasty surgery. Can an asthma patient undergo rhinoplasty surgery? She didn't have asthma for past 1 year does that mean she will not have it again in the future?
