Thoughts on Leo’s teachings about God

6 posts in this topic

Hi Leo,

(..)

Please bear with me.

tldr; Could it be possible that Hell and Heaven, spirits and the astral/eternal world as described in common religion, are part of the Illusion?

Please notice Illusion vs. illusion from hereafter.

Does (the Illusion of) Leo’s soul get to exist and experience eternally and individually separate from God, beyond this temporary illusion of it’s limited human experience?

Have you considered the fact that according to your own teachings, you might be stuck with Leo’s soul forever in the after life, in one way or another still an individual conscious manifestation of God?

According to your teachings about God, could we be living in some manifestation where God has decided that it wants to be obeyed and worshipped (perhaps loved in a wicked form) through and during the illusion of a human lifetime? Did God brutally create an Illusion of Hell to punish the eternal souls of those who sin and not worship and obey during the illusion? Did God actually decide to be funny in this illusion and reward any obedient human/soul manifestation of itself with an eternal Illusion of Heaven, even a bunch of virgins and rivers of booze, as according to Islam?

It scares me that maybe God is basically going to make any human/soul manifestation of itself that doesn’t worship it’s Self (God) through the individual concept of God that it created and intended for, suffer through an Illusion of Hell. After all, we could be experiencing any kind of random, potentially wicked though always perfect manifestation of the Infinite.

It could mean that (the illusion of) Leo’s act of using substances to reach a God-like state is considered as a serious sin, relatable to the story of Adam and Eve where Adam was deceived into eating the forbidden apple, because he wanted to become like God.

Could it be that after infinite love through uncovering the entire structure of God, we’re back down to the lowest level of consciousness: shame? Did the same thing happen for Adam and Eve where they ate an apple from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and they started to be embarrassed of their nakedness?

Leo, you might have transcended to God-like state only to realize that you have to go back. What if the Devil, through innocently curious and unaware Leo, is tricking Leo’s audience (including me) into reaching a forbidden God-like state just like he tricked Adam into eating that apple.

It makes sense for God to avoid the God-like state in any manifestation of itself at all costs according to the self-deception mechanism. If every manifestation reaches God-like consciousness, the entire Illusion collapses, as Leo teaches.

Any thoughts?

@goodjob Religion as taught today was created by the mind. It is the soul that decides how the illusory world will manifest itself, not the mind. Therefore heaven and hell, as taught in common religion, will not manifest itself in the material world.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

@goodjob Nice post.  Anything can be possible.  Some stuff to think about:

As for punishing those that did not obey and rewarding those who did - who are they obeying?  Who is the authority here?  If there is no authority, there are no rules, thus there is no one to say what the punishment and the reward is.  There is no set rule on what is wicked and what is holy.  If we are all God, we are the authority, we make the rules, we make the punishments and rewards - we make it however dream up.  The rules that humans abide by are all made up.

Could say Leo's soul would exist forever or that it never existed to begin with or ask what is the definition of Leo's soul and does it include all soul's or even what is a soul?  Or what is the definition of exist and how can one verify that one is even existing?

Why would god want to be worshipped?

Regarding an apple being forbidden - brings up the interesting idea of whether or not something can actually be forbidden - I can see that if the natural laws of the world do not allow for it to happen then that is one thing, but of the stuff that the natural laws do allow for, if one can actually do it - then is it really forbidden?  I guess if there was a hell - what would it look like and how would one draw the line for where on the spectrum "good" is and where on the spectrum "bad" is?

I feel like shame is a step above the lowest level of consciousness because at least shame recognizes something - it is aware of its wrongdoing - there can be levels lower than that that are not even aware.  Also, what is shameful to one person may not be shameful to another.

We trick ourselves and others all the time.  If there is a Devil, what would you say the devil is - low ego development?  low consciousness?  low knowledge?  low skills?  Why would god care what parts of itself did and why would god not be okay with parts of itself becoming more like itself?  Why would god want to avoid stuff?

@PepperBlossoms That's interesting, thank you. I really wonder if there's any clues or evidence on earth for an eternal individually conscious afterlife. I guess we will always be looking for answers though.

Is a thing forbidden when it is against your deeper nature? If love is what you are, is it still ok to be a soldier? To eat meat? To pay to have a wasp's nest exterminated? Where do you draw the line? Or do you think there is a price to be paid for doing these things. That all actions of that sort will move us further away from self-realisation.
