From what I understand, a person has something like an %80 chance to survive a single gunshot wound if they receive immediate medical attention. 

It's fortunate that our highly trained police officers in America almost never unload an entire clip into someone, then fail to get them medical attention until it's too late ...oh wait, that's exactly what's happened to Breonna Taylor, and also in other high profile cases.

Finland has 56 guns per 100 people, third highest per capita in the world

Difference to USA is that when people are told to put their hands up, they follow the order most of the time.

It's not just the physical guns. It's the culture and the level of inequality.

In a country with a great social safety net, violence and its cultural glorification is not so necessary.

In Finland those are mostly probably hunting rifles -- also a part of Finish culture.

Yeah, I'd say that 99% of civilian guns are owned by people who hone their skill in reserve, sports and hunting. Its incredebly hard to get a gun, and you must have proof that you use the gun for the intended purpose or it will be taken away.

Handguns are almost impossible to get nowadays, basically requires proof of practice for over 2 years. Its a big difference when comparing to what you usually see on USA gun range videos on Youtube.

Notice how countries plagued by crime are also countries with high levels of Income Inequality (just look to the United States, South Africa, or Russia for example). That's not a coincidence, the two are correlated.
