How likely will the Biden administration actually be detrimental to the US?

6 posts in this topic

Since it's pretty much a given that Biden will be USA's next president with Harris being the next vice-president, how possible do you guys think it will be that he could very well end up being bad for the country in the long-run? I mean, don't get wrong, I am very happy that Biden/Harris won the president election and of course that they will definitely be better leaders for our country than Trump/Pence were. However, according to The Hill/Rising political commentators they think that it's very possible that the Biden administration could end up being disastrous for the country in the eventuality:

I just looked up that wiki article and it says that it leans only slightly right-wing conservative.

Under "History":

"The paper was founded in 1994 by Republican power broker and New York businessman Jerry Finkelstein and Martin Tolchin, a former correspondent for The New York Times."

"Eventually Solomon was rebranded as an opinion contributor. In March 2018 he published an interview and series of columns that promoted a conspiracy theory regarding Ukraine advanced by associates of Rudy Giuliani."

"In January 2019, WarnerMedia's CNN reported that Finkelstein was interfering in the editorial independence of the paper in an inappropriate way to minimize criticism of American President Donald Trump. They reported that staff were "in revolt" over Finkelstein's ownership style."

"The same report claimed a senior Hill employee told Politico that Jimmy Finkelstein attended the second 2016 presidential debate as a Trump campaign guest."

"In June 2020, Politico reported that Jimmy Finkelstein's wife, Pamela Gross, was involved in getting Melania Trump acclimated to living and working in the White House. Gross' unpaid arrangement was not disclosed in the several dozen articles The Hill published about the First Lady while Gross was advising her from August 2017 to February 2018, nor were more than a select few Hill employees informed that their boss' wife was an East Wing adviser."

Okay, but what about Krystal Ball? She's supposed to be a very left wing liberal, pro Bernie Sanders.
