Obsession with the former leads to the latter, which is the realisation there is no separation.

There is no such thing as duality / non duality they are one you are that.. the confusion stems from trying to understand it when understanding is generated by you. You can’t understand the thing generating understanding , you are that , any external entity is within your generated bubble it’s within you . YOU ARE THAT  stop thinking of it as the word god just think me this my experience . YOU ARE THAT , you are always in “god” consciousness you invent all forms of consciousness they come from you. YOU ARE THAT. You generate the entire world around you right now . YOU ARE THAT. The tv show your watching the bed your laying in the blanket your using for warmth . YOU ARE THAT. Realize how much of a gift this is and realize ur fantasy of god conciousness is silly how do u think you are generating this? How do you think your typing or even seeing a phone? Or even being able to comprehend reality? You are that your imaging everything your never not imagining things , all levels of consciousness are fake you made them up from nothing ! YOU ARE THAT

Answerers beware. He's no longer asking for things that can be judged as "inner guru" speak. He just wants folks to read into and get lost in the nuances of the questions in order to feel the confusion. ?

The confusion simply arises from mind, with its conditioned patterns. And most are used to figuring stuff out.... with their minds.

Religion and confusion are not ‘things’ you can point to which ‘someone else has’. God isn’t a thing, such that it can be said ‘what God is’. Just like saying what a toaster is. One agrees or not, but it is never actually said what a toaster is, because it’s undefinable. The source of definitions appears to define and is undefinable.

If everything is God there is no we, God, or consciousness. One would have to hold themself to be separate, to define. Use a pad of paper, try defining yourself, as an exercise. What is arrived at?

If everything is God...there is no ‘everything’. If all the cars and house are legos...there aren’t cars & houses...there’s legos. If all definitions are legos...there aren’t actually any definitions....just legos...and this would include all definitions like & for legos.

My inquiry here is not entirely existential. I specifically referred to mystics and how they relate to the absolute so that you may see that. Is their way valid, as in ultimate non-duality? Or are they still in duality?

In other words, is it the same thing to worship an external God? Or is it delusion?

You are trying to give them authority. Who is to decide who's view is valid? You ofcourse. If only you could realize you are them and they are you and so whatever you /them decide is what YOU decide. So both views are correct and false. Isn't that obvious?
