How do you increase your sensitivity to life

6 posts in this topic

I want to be more sensitive to life. This means more passion, desire, love, authenticity but ofc more anger etc

But I want to do it anyway. Any tips on how to do this?

Meditation, psychedelics, healthy diet (fruits and veggies), exercise, reading deep books, sex, and trying new things (travelling etc.) are the best.

Breathe deeply (Alexander Lowen)

"We are like the spider. We weave our life and then move along in it. We are like the dreamer who dreams and then lives in the dream. This is true for the entire universe."

When you are angry. Let yourself feel it completely. If you are being inauthentic. Let yourself be inauthentic and observe that. If you are sad and

depressed, don't try to suppress the sadness. Feel it completely. Bathe in the sadness.

The ego mind has rigid rules for how we must feel and interact with people because it fears suffering and being emotionally overwhelmed. But these

rigid rules only have power over you as long as you obey them out of fear. When you push and test their boundaries you find out they had no

substance whatsoever.

Allow yourself to get emotionally overwhelmed and hurt sometimes.

Experiment with how far you can go and do it while being mindful of your mind and your body.

This kind of practice can help you reach a direct understanding of your emotions, open your heart up, and get you closer to emotional mastery.

The only way to become unbreakable is when you allow existence to break you consciously in mind and heart.
