Consciousness does not exist

6 posts in this topic

Atman is Brahman. You are foolish to not see how your consciousness is the All, God, all existence, etc., but all of these things do not exist for you do not exist. Consciousness is a creation experienced only within dreamstates. The only Truth exists outside of dreamstates where consciousness is no longer perceived and the experiencer is eradicated as well. You are in a dream right now, and you are the only consciousness that exists. Every other being, deity, or object just has the APPEARANCE of consciousness and existence. In actuality, there is no substance behind it. You (Your body, mind, and ego) are also an illusory fabrication of consciousness. Consciousness itself as well as the Self or experiencer of phenomena is a dream object illusion. Consciousness is the most pervasive illusion as it goes with you wherever you experience a you. Truth, if such a thing exists, is more likely to be found where consciousness, the illusory creation mechanism, is not present like in states such as deep sleep or samadhi if the perception of the experiencer of phenomena is destroyed.  You created all of this with your imagination through the sole creator of lies and illusion which is consciousness. Now, hold on to your butts and enjoy the ride in this dream reality ?

Be kind to the characters you have dreamt up, and they will be kind to you thus giving you a more pleasant dream. Only wake up if you desire it Neo.

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

@BipolarGrowth How does Neo wake up?

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

@lmfao by playing with dream objects that originate from different dreams. We aren’t talking about enlightenment here. We are talking about one’s level of lucidity within this dream. Enlightenment is an altered state of consciousness. Lucidity is the visceral recognization that nothing here is a “true” reality beyond the fact that it merely appears to be real. To wake up in a dream that occurs when you sleep at night, unless it happens spontaneously, you have to use the rules of this reality to show yourself in that reality that it is merely a dream world. A common trick to lucid dream is to get in the habit of looking at a clock and then always doing a double take. In this reality, the clock stays the same. In the dreams we have at night, the time changes between the two looks.

This is the nature of spiritual experiences and psychedelic use amongst other things that severely alter consciousness. When you alter your state of consciousness, it changes the level of lucidity, but awakened consciousness or enlightenment only becomes true lucidity in its highest form when you understand and recognize that nothing is real. It all is an illusion. You cannot escape from this illusion no matter what reality you are in unless you realize the unreality of the dreamstate. If God comes to you in the flesh, he is imaginary. Imagined by you. If you experience God’s Consciousness, it is imaginary. Imagined by you. All things are you and your creation. For me to wake up, it took a 25 year spiritual journey culminated in the last seven years. I have used my various mental illnesses, high doses of multiple psychedelics, meditation, and my innate urge to seek spiritual knowledge, understanding, and experience to wake myself up. These are the dream objects (experiences) that worked for me. Always remember though that even when you feel most lucid, it is higher consciousness that is making you feel that way. Consciousness is creating that illusion as you still have the idea of a Self who is experiencing lucidity. The next step is to shatter the attachment to lucidity by developing faith that nothing is real, even lucidity.

Cool analogy with the lucid dreaming and using the dream objects

What do you mean developing 'faith' that nothing is real? Is faith a shift of the mind towards determination and intensity upon seeing something profound?

Don't spread misinformation on this forum.

Truth and consciousness are identical.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
