Positive habits and routines always get compromised with bad ones

4 posts in this topic

For some reason i always tend to start slacking one way or another, when i'm making good progress with habits.
For instance: if i keep my sleep schedule on point, my exercise habit will suffer and i will start to slack on exercise. If i eat healthy for a while, i will start to sleep in late, or watch useless YouTube vids etc. If i start saving up money, i will get the urge to gamble a bit.

Why is this?

Are you making overall progress, in your health/wealth/love/happiness and mastery?

It may be because you become obbsessive with one thing which then kind of freakes your ego out. In other words, maybe you do to much at a time and then your ego drags you back to homeostasis.
