What is consciousness ? And why there is suffering ?

34 posts in this topic

Hey, Guys! What ' s up ? Hope you are all amazing :)

So, just finished meditating, and have some amazing realizations! Wanted to share with you guys.

First realization is about my path, but that doesn' t really matter to the topic, so let' s keep going, haha.

So what is consciouness ? I am aware that are other facets to consciosness, but i realized it is INFINITY EXPANSION/EVOLUTION. Consciousness wants to expand infinitely.

So, with that in mind those other 2 realization comes to me  -

1. There are no enlightment as a finish line, there are enlightning experiences, and infinity degrees to it. When people discovered the fire, that was enlightening to that time, because it raised consciouness level. What people call enlightment today i believe it's god consciousness(i am far from this level), but imagine all that can hapen after that, hahahah.

2. Suffering is the way consciouness found to make itself evolve/expand on it lower levels. Lower levels of conciousness doesn't now it wants to expand/evolve, so suffering kinda forces it.

What do you guys think about this ?  Let's discuss

Counsciousness doesn't want to expand, because it already is infinite and complete. There is no space outside of conciousness that it expand into.

Counsciousness didn't create suffering for a reason. It is your mind that formulates a reason for suffering. On a deep level of understanding the mind realise, it's suffering comes from the disconnection (better the not-knowing) of its source

Is there really an I which is far from a level. Seen, heard, witness either in any way really? Maybe seen about, heard about, and believing about.

Likewise, who, what, attributes suffering & expansion to “consciousness”?

Simple answer, what everything is, it's Actual pure Love.

What else would God create?

It's complete? How can something be both infinite and complete?

If I painted a picture, am I not creating or adding to reality/consciousness?... Hmm, the image I paint would come from consciousness so in a sense it does already exist, but I am making it into a physical reality, which is also just another form of consciousness ...

So infinite consciousness has already created every possible thing or reality, but that puts it into a fixed state which can no longer be infinite.

Could someone clear this up for me?

I don't see how it couldn't. Infinite means it doesn't lack of anything.

Have you heard infinite consciousness being discribed as "being"?

Being is a fixed state.

It will help dropping the concept of time.

Only the mind experiences the coming and going of things.

The thing is, that the finite can only know the finite. And the infinite can only know itself. And as it sees itself as it is, it knows its complete (although it is nothing). since within its nature it holds the potential of being/creating every (finite) form

Heh! I like that, so the infiniteness of it is what makes it complete. I was creating a duality between forms and consciousness.

I get how time is a form of consciousness, it's hard to conceptualize timelessness.

But that state of being is one of constant change? .... hmmm again I think I'm creating a duality between the changing forms of consciousness and consciousness itself.

I like this.

I'm not fully grasping it all but it's been helpful.

Makes, sense i think i was seeing thing to much from a logical mind.

Infinity can expand. Imagine that infinity is nothingness. It’s limited by itself - which is, not at all. There is no limit to how far nothing reaches. As soon as you find the furthest limit you realize there is more beyond it.

it’s not already at maximum because if there were a maximum there could be further beyond it.

Time is an idea, it doesn't exist. The mind thinks there is time because the content of it's experience is constantly changing. Yet the experience itself is always only prenent in the Now. And there are not many Nows, but always only the Now.

Everything becomes logical and clear once it has been experienced. It's paradox but logical, when you leave behind the limitations of thoughts

I agree with the first statement, but then consciousness would never find a limit within itself (second statement)

So there is no maximum and no "beyond", right?

So how could that be:

Infinity can expand

In order to expand it must gather something (from somewhere outside of itself) that was not within it before

Why do humans feel the need to explain suffering away? To come up with a story that suffering must be for the greatest good (whatsoever that means)? Why can't we just accept that suffering exists and is apparently completely pointless?

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

The confusion is that there is a you.

@Nahm There isnt. There is awareness, that once stops believing a thought can describe her(lol, I cant use her or him for awareness anyway) , then it becomes (it is revealed) free. :):):)

Love seems to come to me like glimpses of being non-separation, but I dont really what @zeroISinfinity means with reality being Actual Love tho´ :|
