For those who are searching for their life purpose

About three years ago I graduated in Master of Linguistics. Back then I always felt lost and I could feel a gap in my life but I didn't know where it came from.

Not until I had the courage to admit how lost I was I found peace.

My whole life I always wanted to continue education and apply for a good university abroad. But right before reaching a life long dream I dropped everything and I admitted that what I have ever wanted and what I am going to do is not the thing that I wanna do for the rest of my life.

It was the hardest thing to drop all my research projects, quit my job, stop applying, move to another city, go against what everybody say and what everybody (and also myself) expect me to do, and follow what I desire to do for the rest of my life.

I asked myself what is it that I would sacrifice for, what is it that I want to do for the rest of my life. I reached out deep inside and I found my life purpose.

I self educated myself in Biology. I took a university entrance exam and I got accepted in Master of science at a good university. Now I am in the way of my life purpose... to be a scientist and to connect the long-lasting gap between science and spirituality.

I wish all of you could experience the feeling that I have right now, the feeling of having a purpose in life. Go within and ask yourself what is it that you truly wanna pursue. Find what excites you more in this short time that we have on Earth. You won't regret it.

That's some very motivational words there. I personally find myself getting attracted to so many different things and developing love for them that sometimes won't last. What do you think people like me should do in order to be more clear on what they want? Assuming that this sudden decision has been working out for you so far.

@bejapuskas I have done many things to fill the gap inside me. I liked all of them as well.

Now that I look they were only running from the fact that I am not happy in my path. All of them were small short-term satisfactory activities.

When u find what u really want, it feels different. You are completely devoted and ready to sacrifice for it. You can't wait to wake up mornings and do it. I didn't feel any of these for my previous activities.

It was not sudden. My love for science has always been there but It was buried under years of being unconscious.

@Elham  Riight... So would you say consciousness increases your interest in things generally? :) So you found something you see more meaning in? Or why do you say the other activities were just short-term satisfactory kind of activities?

Ya I found something that I would love to do everyday forever. There are many things people are interested in. But you should ask yourself are they the one thing that you wanna do for the rest of your life!

Very happy for you, @Elham. I'm at a crossroads myself, and wondering where Consciousness will take me. Please Consciousness, not the morgue or pest extermination.

Just because God loves you doesn't mean it is going to shape the cosmos to suit you. God loves you so much that it will shape you to suit the cosmos.
