They Mentioned Non-Duality In My High-School Philosophy Lectures

Im studying up on my grades that I failed in high-school. Doing Philosophy right now. The book has some pages on Ramana Maharshi. Thought this was cool. Im so happy the schools in my country is are talking about Eastern Philosophy in a mandatory course.

I was taught how to meditate in catholic high school by one of our teachers. You can always find pieces of truth if you’re open to it

I got a lecture containing nonduality in one of my history elective classes in college. It involved the Mayans. Professor was woke as fuck though — actualized as all hell. He even talked to the fucking class about his cocaine and LSD experiences. I participated in that class a lot and almost regret not continuing my relationship with him, considering how much he seemed to like me as well. Value your relationships, folks — even with your professors.

My religious studies teacher (in high-school) had 5 minute meditation sessions every time we started class too! Thats where it all started!

Omg. Sounds like a guy that would be instantly fired in any university here. 

 

 

High School here means Gymnasium, its education from around 17 to 19 years old. I dont have a good word for it because our education system is different from in the US.
