Posted November 18, 2020 (edited) I wanted to share this experience since quite a while. SantataGamana's new book is out and deals with Lucid Dreaming & Dream Yoga. I'm eating up this book in a fast pace and it is by far one of the most fascinating books I ever read. This also inspired me to share this dream I had. Candles were formed in a circle around me. Sadhguru was sitting directly in front of me and I was in my typical cross-legged meditation posture. He gave me a mantra for each chakra. The instruction was to climb my way up from Muladhara to Sahasrara, saying each mantra once onto each chakra. The only thing I could remember about the mantras was that they were rather short. I didn't know the language, but they always seemed like one word. (Oh and btw, while I'm writing this, my stomach area is shaking uncontrollably.) So, I started chanting the mantras on Muladhara. After saying the first syllable, I was already, by far, in the deepest trance I ever witnessed. Because of this, I couldn't remember the other mantras - the only thing I could remember was to work my way up the chakras. I blabbered gibberish at each chakra, still trying somehow to chant the mantras. As I reached Saharara, I realized that I was meditating, just as I am, when I'm doing Yoga in the waking state. This means that I found myself within the same Beingness. It was as if I was meditating normally. Then I woke up, thinking "WTF DID JUST HAPPEN???". Then I woke up, realizing that it was a dream, within a dream. I was utterly shocked by the mindfuck. Then I woke up, once more, only to realize that it was a dream, within a dream, within a dream. I was speechless. Just speechless. This experience also triggered the recognization, that our "normal waking state" is just as much a dream, as the night dream is. A paradigm shift occured. Posted November 18, 2020 hahaha wow I had a dream once, where I fell asleep in the dream, and then started lucid dreaming while in the new dream which was inside that dream. Then, when I woke up inside the dream, I stopped lucid dreaming. And then I woke up again to actual reality. Describe a thought.

Or maybe you are still in that dream, but thinking you 'woke up' to 'actual reality' Everyone is waiting for eternity but the Shaman asks: "how about today?"
