What is more important than happiness? 

Genuinely, if you are happy, life becomes a beautiful exploration, instead of a struggle full of separate self desires & fears. 

When you realize the Absolute & stabilize this realization, absolute happiness & peace are found at the core of your being. 

If you're not there, keep digging. 

Oh, and don't forget Love & truth

Then what's left? 

Living from love. 

Enjoying the game of life. 

Having fun. 

Being of service to 'others' in your own unique way, by simply doing what you love, sharing your gifts with the world & loving life! In fact, the greatest service you can ever offer is your own Self-Realization, the peace & happiness you radiate will rub off on people, it is magnetic. 

Ask anyone, interested in these matters or not, what they want, and they will say happiness, whether they word it like that will be different. 

They may say- Money, Relationships etc etc, but when you ask the reason, it will be for happiness. 

The most paradoxical thing is of all, is that being Happy & at peace, makes enjoying relationships, career, friends, hobbies, life in general SO much easier & better, as your happiness is not dependent on them, you can simply enjoy them & appreciate them deeper than ever before.
