lower abdominal breathing

I have been practicing abdominal breathing (hara) for a couple of years now and i still feel as if i have gone somewhere wrong here, The sensations and experiences i feel remain the same making me feel powerless and causing negative experiences that makes me feel withdrawn and tired.

I have recently been expanding my awareness through other parts of my abdomen and have noticed the benefits of this exercise and how this aliveness in this region of my body is energizing and nourishing.

what should i do if i want to practice abdominal breathing?

does anyone have any suggestions on where i should centre my awareness, or should i be active and scan all around my abdomen?

what should i be doing?
