Dreaming EVERY Night

16 posts in this topic

I've been going into deep dreams every night now for at least two weeks. My sleep cycle is all of the sudden just amazing and super high quality. These dreams seem to be very related to my personal life and very vivid. I actually had a dream last night where I had hugged a teacher of mine where there had been resistance in our relationship years ago. The benefits from these seem to be very mild. Although, they are giving me some food for thought and some ease with past relationships.

Couple questions:

Seems like a really high amount to have is that normal?

I use to lucid dream like 6 years ago, but I could most certainly do it with these because I wake up in the middle of the night a few times to pee. I am very easily able to go back into a deep sleep. Could it be worthwhile to try that again? I mean I know I can try it, but it doesn't seem as favorable here. I never really tried many practices or techniques for any sort of spiritual benefit, when I did do it. Just techniques to control it.

Any way to get more benefits from these? I have considered a journal for insights or something possibly.

Yes I think wbtb will work just fine for you. Study up all about it and start doing the practices again. You are having an upswing of dream awareness, might as well take advantage

I am taking notes of my dreams and I am beginning to remember my dreams more.

We have a thread where we talk about lucid dreaming. Here it is:

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16

@abrakamowse I have written down insights too. I will probably write down more meaningful ones I think. I will read through the thread.

Ok, cool!!! ?

It helps to think about what dreams are trying to heal or show to you, to think about the symbolism rather than taking them face value. Also apply that curiosity to event in real life. This is all the dream.

Heavy contemplation will sometimes lead to insights during sleep or rest in my experience. It's like building muscles. You actually rip them apart when you're working hard at lifting weights, but during rest you build them back better than before.

@Average Investor Welcome to the dreamy cult! Become so good at lucid dreaming that dreams themselves call you 'My Lord'. Mastering it gives you a massive opportunity to explore consciousness, have a rollicking good time with your imagination. I presume you have had psychedelics before; the next time you have a lucid dream, remember this cheeky blob SirVladimir called upon you to try them out within the dreamy state. How lucky we are that physical reality is merely a construct - I find psychedelics as profound in dreams as in waking life. Take that, FDA! ^_^

Uuuuh brilliant SirVlad, thanks for cheeky blob!

@SirVladimir Are you able to "dream" totally new psychedelics you in "dream state", which you have not tried in "waking state"? I remember having mushrooms in a dream state, before I had experienced them in "waking state", and the experience was pretty similar :D Nevertheless, I have not done psychedelics in lucid dream state, yet.

@Flexible Not really; psychedelics are just a relative distinction within reality. It's all consciousness fooling itself. When I take them, the notion of taking a psychedelic automatically dissipates.

@SirVladimir yes, but at least in my direct experience there´s different distinction in reality when I take LSD, compared when I take DMT. Even  "the notion of taking a psychedelic automatically dissipates".

Take Kratom 1-2 hours before bed. You will have the craziest/intense lucid dreams ever.

I actually had an Awakening inside a dream after taking Kratom one night

If it´s not from the same vendor it probably will mean nothing (since what really matters is the selection and drying process, so your vendor will have a different one for sure) but it was Red Borneo.

@mandyjw Yeah, I have been contemplating on them similar to what you suggested. This will definitely reinforce this for me. I am going to put a journal to write them when I wake up now too. I can see a fair amount of value in this stuff for sure. Strange that I am just getting them in abundance lately.

@SirVladimir That sounds really interesting. I should be capable of doing that. About 6 years ago I was able to place myself in space and such, so training this shouldn't be too hard. I dreamed last night, but was not able to put myself fully in control. A lot of the ones I have right now feel like an RPG game where I actually think about the out put or the outcome and I can choose it. I use to be able to find myself in them and just go to flick a light switch (It would not work) to be able to put myself in full control. That and I would spin in the dream if I started to wake up to keep myself in it.

@Javfly33 I would probably prefer to stay away from kratom. Just because it is an opiate, or like one. I have tried it though.
