Nazi-ism is not hard to understand as an arising when a proud nation which reveres itself and its history undergoes the humiliation of losing a world war and the woes it suffers to its image and its material state. Kind of like an ego-backlash with overshoot. This oscillation is evident throughout all aspects of history with its changing fortunes, and any era is always dependant on what precedes and also surrounds it. Non-duality in action.

I don’t wanna sound rude or anything but I really think the very first thing India needs to do is incorporate better sex education into the schools because the population crisis is probably one of the very first thing that needs to get addressed.

@Amit @ajai , Modi is a fascist and racist. He is suppressing free speech, the media and using the tax bureau and law courts to crack down on dissenters. His party, the BJP, are using women to swell their ranks when it comes to demonstrations. 

He supports crony capitalism and neo-liberalism which takes no account of the poor who get displaced, robbed and exploited.

I meant in terms of some of his philosophies. He holds a lot of traditional Indian beliefs, but like talks about it differently. Like hes about no free sex, no no on psychedelics, yes for monogamy, doesn't encourage gay people etc. He holds a lot of traditional beleifs, is not radical about them, but they definitely feel traditional 

Ur right, there's nothing wrong with the pov. But I think his perspective isn't deep enough on the topics.

Do you know HOW INGLORIOUS EMPIRE squeezed India for every last ounce of profit?

Do you know what was India's GDP in 1600s when East India Company took over and What was Britain's GDP?

Do you know the role of India and it's resources during WW2 for British Army? Do you know about Winston Churchill?

Do you know how british parted India into two by their bullshit partition agreement? Do you know how shrewdly they parted the lines between the countries? very irresponsibily, I'm afraid.

Do you know how Inglorious Empire washed their hands and pulled britain off, and left both parted countries in the dismay?

Don't you think a LOOT  worth 45 Trillion Dollars, does owe Reparations?

Do you know when did India got it's Independence? and how infant of a country it is still, development wise.

Do you know what it takes to establish proper Infrastructure for 1.3 billion people?

Do you know how many years of profound study it would take You to understand Indian Political and Social Structure?

Some History is good to take into account when we are reflecting about a Country's development and predicting it's future or seeing current dynamics emerging and disappearing on consistent basis. You can't describe the types of dances that are going on, by just using two fancy terms.

And afterall, be it either a Person's Development or a Country's Development, it goes beyond someone else's current EGO/EGOs and is not indigent of it.

That depends on person to person and who's listening to his talks, people interpret many different meanings from his teachings because of their Sloppy Understanding of Scriptures he takes into account on occasions. What do my comments about Modi have to do with colonialism anyway or with the current state of development in India relative to that of pre-colonial times? Modi is a destructive force in the country and does more harm than good.

Please look up 'neo-liberalism' and 'crony capitalism' - these are concepts that you should be acquainted with - they are basic to understanding our economies and how leaders abuse power.

@Demeter  I'm saying take all factors into account before you go and do your research. And Understand the meaning of those two terms well, while infering anything about India. Why the things you've mentioned might be a need of the hour? and probably the only solution state power can figure out for the time being. This is not America here we are dealing with. Do you know how many years before America was established as a Democratic Nation, how many years it took them to where they are today?

That's why I want to know your meaning of those two terms, in what context you are using them, so that I can comment thereafter.

And Modi was born n brought up in the same region and is the product of the same factory. Raw materials matters a lot in manufacturing a product.

Wasn't India by that time a lot of different countries and kingdoms and the brits actually made them one nation? Not totally sure but that's what i've heard.

This kind of stuff is why I sometimes get unmotivated to do spiritual work. 

The problem is most awoken people are not grounded enough. 

After enligthenment, you gotta self actualize that enligthenment to be functional and coherent with others and the world.

I have made so many mistakes by following advice from enlightened beings in the past, just because I wasnt aware how un grounded they are.
