The US and some Asian countries forming an alliance to counter China?

NATO-The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was formed after WW2 mostly to counter the Soviet Union and its allies.

Now since China is growing stronger, has more influence, military power, soft power. Some countries around it "feel" bullied and are creating their own "NATO" with the US.

This Indian channel is sometimes a bit on the propaganda side but oh well.

Is the fear somewhat justified or is it just a way to make more money for the military industrial complex?

also do you think freedom of speech, freedom to criticise the government, freedom of religion etc. how we usually have in the west is extremely important? or do you think we don't really need it and other things are more important, like it's in china for example?
