You Won't Get Too Far In Life Without Communication Skills

4 posts in this topic

Hello.

I've stumbled upon a beautiful, life-changing quote.

"Art is the expression of the profoundest thoughts in the simplest way." ― Albert Einstein

After contemplating this quote intensely and making connections to mastery topics, I realized that all succesful people have this skill: articulating understanding in a simple manner.

@Leo Gura, for example, knows how to articulate understanding in the simplest way possible. He uses basic words when he formulates an argument.

Leo has a great skill. And I believe he's entitled to it becuase he struggled his whole life to develop the skill.

You can be the smartest person on planet Earth, having the biggest IQ in the population, but if you're not able to teach other people your skills in a crystal-clear manner, you won't be able to make a difference.

Anyone here struggling with the development of communication skills?

Yea well, it also depends on who do you communicate with..

We here in Eastern Europe buy cheap vodka/beer and drink outside of the shop with old construction workers, in this situation your communication skills wouldn't really matter.

I work as a concept artist and use paintings and 3d animations to communicate complex ideas in a simple & clear way.

Its a huge benefit to have the skill to be able to communicate in that way.  Ive relied on it a lot as I sometimes struggle to communicate as well verbally and have recently started trying to improve in that area.

I really admire people who can fully express with their voice and body.
