If you're interested in Adyashanti's take on spiritual bypassing, here it is:

From 50:00.

Leo has been saying this too. We have two core avenues, awakening AND development, not either or.

To even awaken often requires development, it’s rare for people to suddenly awaken.

@Vision Spirituality will solve many of those issues for you. You can’t escape your mind, even in meditation. During meditation, you will discover that you are the whole of reality, therefore you didn’t ‘escape’, because your direct consciousness is what all of reality is.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie
