Stress related to diet?

I usually been like couple years now i do do alot of fasting and lately i came to visit family and been eating like a pig. 
 

but i feel like I’m generally more stressed out and I’m hard to talk to at times i snap quicker and bare to talk to and I cannot take bullshit as easily anyone know if diet effects that as its just a theory i have, i will change my diet back to healthy eating and fasting and see if anything changes and maybe i can go back to a Zen state <<< yeah that i need to be more Zen and peaceful ✌? ☮️ . 

Maybe i was really never in a Zen state i was always like this but anyways that’s the quest

Diet is just one aspect, although it's hugely symbolic, and beyond symbolic. The thoughts we accept and take in are the thoughts we choose to consume and that create us and our world, just like food. Being careful to choose the thoughts and the foods that feel good to take in is important.

Sure, caloric deficiencies ramp up your adrenaline and cortisol levels, which are THE stress hormones.

 

So yes 100%.

@Village Try it out and you'll find it's the exact opposite. The calmest and most peaceful I've ever been was towards the end of a 7 day fast. Obviously starving is not good but it's not a thing if you have over 9% BF.

Catecholamine Honeymoon state. There is a huge difference between dedicated fasting and long term  caloric deficiency diets. In the latter, your adrenals fatigue. The whole benefit of fasting arises from the raised stress hormones and catabolic autophagy processes --> Hormesis (positive stress adaption).

Yes! Exactly! Self-starvation is causing so many problems these days, masked as super energy state which is just adrenals running on hyperdrive. Good share, thanks.
